Everybody knows that one of them is about February 29, the date that only comes by every four years in a leap year. So many people consider that a rare birthday, and it is less than 0.07% of people who have that birthday. Many consider it the rarest birthday, and they are correct. It is one in 1461 births, so it makes it rare. The people born on that day even have a special name, Leapers. Some other rare birthdays are Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and the Fourth of July. You may be wondering how birthdays can be rare? Well, fewer births are scheduled on holidays, and there are fewer staff on public holidays. The ten least common birthdays are February 29, December 25, January 1, July 4, January 2, December 26, November 27, November 23, and November 25. In 2023, April was the least common month for birth. But overall, February is the least common month for children to be born.
Well, now that we have talked about the rarest birthdays, which are the most common? According to the ABC News in Australia, September 17 is the most common birthday, and in America, it is September 9. In America, the most common birthdays are mainly in September, but there are more births in August. The top ten most common birthdays are September 9, September 19, September 12, September 17, September 10, July 7, September 20, September 15, September 16, and September 18 in that order. The most common months for children to be born are August, July, and September.Â
So overall, if you have any of these birthdays, you could be extremely special or super normal. To sum up, the least common birthday is February 29, and the most common birthday is September 9.
