Note from the Editors
As Year 12 close the final chapter of our time at Loreto, we find ourselves reflecting on the journey that brought us here. This issue represents both a farewell to something beloved and an opening into the unknown stories yet to be written.
Graduation is always a paradox—full of anticipation for what lies ahead, yet just as full of nostalgia for what we are soon to leave behind.
It has been an honour to guide this publication as Editors-in-Chief, working with our brilliant editorial and design teams, as well as Mr Scali and the other teachers who have helped us on our journey.
This year also marks the tenth anniversary of The Mary Word, a milestone that makes this farewell feel even more significant.
Over the past decade, the publication has grown into a space for creativity and expression, and we are grateful to have played our part in its story.
To our readers, contributors, and supporters—thank you. Every article, design, photo, and idea has kept The Mary Word alive and evolving. We hope it continues to inspire future students to share their voices and celebrate the spirit of Loreto.
So, as we prepare for the "Then The World" stage of our Loreto journey, we present to you -
"First Loreto, then The Word"
That's Rose, Rosemary and Elisa - signing out.
