Struggling to find a great place to spend for Christmas? Struggle no more, this article will show you a range of places to visit this Christmas! From beach to snow, to city to country. There’s a place for everyone, whether you want to embrace the Christmas spirit or just relax at the beach, it will be a great time for the whole family

Belize, Central America

Why not go to Belize, Central America? It’s perfect to relax during the holidays, with beautiful beaches and resorts all around. There are so many options; diving in the Great Blue Hole or snorkelling along the Belize Barrier Reef (the second largest reef behind our very own Great Barrier Reef). You could also walk around Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve for a beautiful view of the pine forests, waterfalls and caves. The pristine beaches, dense jungles, and inviting turquoise waters all for a relatively cheap price!

Orlando, Florida

At this time of the year Orlando offers the best deals for Christmas vacation. Several of Orlando’s hotels have very cheap accommodation, even half price! You can also get a cheaper airfare, particularly if you book early. With your saved money from accommodation and flight fees, you could instead visit Disney World, Universal Studios, or Sea World Orlando with your family. If not, you could snorkel in Discovery Cove or visit the sloths in Orlando's Exotic Animal Experience!

Stowe, Vermont

In Vermont during the Christmas holiday you can save vastly on lift passes due to run closures, as well as saving from all the hotel deals. Rooms in early to mid-December can be over $100 cheaper a night, which leaves you with plenty left over for shopping or lift tickets. Non-skiers will love the spa amenities found in many of the resorts, and the town's shopping and restaurants are absolutely unbeatable! In addition to the incredible skiing and snowboarding, you can also enjoy indoor rock-climbing at Stowe Mountain Resort or ice-skating at Spruce Peak Village.

Rovaniemi, Finland

This city is the birthplace and home of the famous Santa Claus! The city of Rovaniemi has the Santa Claus village amusement park and resort, entertainment for your whole family. The town is filled with snow covered cottages, reindeer rides, friendly staff. This is all complimented by people embracing the Christmas spirits through singing, costumes and so much more. You could also take an evening snowmobile to glimpse the breathtaking Northern Lights, a sight to behold. You and your family can all stay at accommodation with picturesque panoramic views, private saunas and other activities.

Tokyo, Japan

Although you may not expect it, Tokyo really gets into the Christmas spirit with spectacular displays of light all around the city. Each year the displays are even more breathtaking! Each district competes in a competition for the best display. Including 100,000 blue and silver lights twinkling in the Tokyo Midtown, with even a massive Baccarat crystal chandelier at Yebisu Garden Place! If you can’t get there in December, it’s okay! The lights have become so popular that they remain displayed until February. The blue cavern is an equally incredible display of illumination in Shibuya, an electric version of the blue grottos found in the Mediterranean.

New York City

There’s no shortage of ways to make your New York City Christmas magical, whether it's ice skating around at Rockefeller Center, carriage rides through Central Park, or walking around the city. One thing to get you into the spirit is Watching the Rockettes do their thing during the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Then you could walk to Rockefeller Center to ice skate and grab a delicious treat at Magnolia Bakery, one of the best bakeries in NYC!
