Took too long
To remember
Two teen kids
Four shared pets
Two mother-in-laws
They try not to text
They love books,
Board games,
Word search,
And each other
Our dog,
Our cat,
Two guinea pigs
And my brother
But they also love me
And isn’t that nice
To roll a 20
With the ol’ parent dice
They still go on dates
(Most when we’re not around)
And talk with their mates
About weird things they’ve found
Like my dad’s a strict carnivore
And has weird ideas
My mum’s into plants more
And ends movies in tears
But Mum eats Dad’s salad
And he makes her laugh
So I guess that’s why they love each other
