The United States of America currently have the highest number of deaths from, and confirmed cases of, COVID-19, with over 1.5 million cases and over 90,113 deaths (as of the 17th of May), and this number is only growing. During the past months, US President Donald Trump has expressed some concerning, and some might say, ridiculous ideas that not only sound odd, but may endanger citizens. This proves how much power someone can have over people that choose to listen to them, rather than taking the advice of health experts.
Here are some interesting and dangerous things that President Trump has told the public which will hopefully get a laugh out of you. Please note that his medical suggestions are not real and are actually very dangerous to do.

Question: Why do you keep calling this the Chinese Virus?
Trump: It comes from China...it’s not racist, I just want to be accurate

Question: What metrics will you use to make that decision?
Trump: *points to head* The metrics right here. That’s my metrics

**Talking about curing COVID-19**
Trump: So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous - whether it’s ultraviolet or just powerful light
Trump: And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way
Trump: And then I see disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it goes a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check

Question: You have said many times that the US is doing better than any other country when it comes to testing, why does that matter why is this a global competition to you if everyday Americans are still losing their lives and we’re still seeing more cases every day?
Trump: Well they’re losing their lives everywhere in the world and maybe that’s a question you should ask China, don’t ask me ask China that question okay, when you ask them that question you might get a very unusual answer

Trump: Don’t forget we have the most cases than anybody else in the world, but why? Because we do more tests, when you test you have a case
