  1. Santa - Any and all movies!

ree

Who else could get number 1? This timeless icon in red velvet and a fur trim eats up his outfit every single year. It’s not that I want to be on the nice list or anything, but he’s been serving THE Christmas look since before fashion week was even a thing – ho-ho-hold the applause for the style icon himself.

  1. The Grinch – How the Grinch Stole Christmas

ree

Green, fuzzy, and fabulously unapologetically serving a look and that insane face card! He may have stolen Christmas, but he definitely stole the runway too (alongside Max, of course).

  1. Hermione Granger – Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

The Yule Ball dress? How can we forget!? This dress was in all our dreams and future wardrobes as kids, and still is, honestly, because of how insanely beautiful she looks! Just look at the way Ron was staring at her the whole night – he was definitely jealous of Viktor Krum.

  1. Buddy the Elf – Elf

ree

What screams Christmas cheer more than Buddy the Elf, who left all his social anxiety in the North Pole when he had the courage to walk around New York City in his elf attire – sure, he didn’t know any better, but the confidence was there, and we all saw it! Green velvet and yellow tights, he owns the Christmas season and the pure joy it brings to the world.

  1. Cady – Mean Girls

ree

Need I say more? Her Halloween outfit was absolutely insane! The fake blood, teeth, and truly going all out for a party make this outfit utterly memorable. Even though she was made fun of for being ‘scary’ instead of conforming to society's expectations of ‘prettier’ women’s costumes, her daring look is one to remember, and one that we will probably see in Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party in a few years… hopefully – but can anyone really beat the original?

  1. Jack Frost – Rise of the Guardians

ree

Frost-tipped hair, icy blue hoodie and a staff that doubles as a winter accessory, he is on everyone’s hear me out cakes 100%.

  1. Cindy Lou Who – How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Honestly, the pigtails alone deserve their own award! In all the Grinch adaptations over time, her cute nature and love of candy canes are simply adorable, and really… the hair!!! WOW.

ree

  1. Amanda – The Holiday

ree

Amanda is the OG snowy-romance queen with all of her outfits devouring! Drenched in cashmere, neutral tones, perfect curls and LA chic style in a cozy English cottage, who else could make heartbreak look so chic in the snow than Cameron Diaz?

ree

  1. Stacy – Princess Switch, Switched Again

With two identities and one wardrobe full of ballgowns and cooking fits, their fashion was off the charts!

  1. Cady, Regina, Karen, Gretchen – Mean Girls

ree

Absolutely ICONIC! I mean the matching outfits, the song, the movie!!! What else comes to mind when you hear “Jingle Bell Rock” and matching Santa outfits, other than Cady and the girls who were truly abided by the saying ‘the show must go on’ while dancing and singing acapella despite all the music troubles.

  1. Elf on the Shelf – An Elf’s Story

ree

Now, the elf on the shelf may not move much (except in this movie), but when he does, he is always perched so perfectly in that red little jumpsuit he has, creating Christmas spirit and chaos in watching our every move and action.

  1. Frosty – Frosty the Snowman

ree

Frosty’s vintage wintercore aesthetic accessorising with a corncob pipe and silk hat is just the contrast to his snow white self that brings his look together. Such a kind soul and iconic, please don’t let him near a heater.

ree

  1. Elves – The Christmas Chronicles

Who says you can’t build toys and serve looks at the same time? All elves, but especially these elves, have so much character and bring such a funny element to the Christmas Chronicles series. I mean, look at their hats and cute faces… just wow!

ree
  1. Edward Scissorhands – Edward Scissorhands

With leather, buckles and an avant-garde angst, this man is literally cutting-edge fashion. Although his look is a little spooky at times, boy, does he know how to rock a look!

  1. Kevin McCallister – Home Alone

    ree

With his cozy knit sweaters, iconic beanie and total main character energy, Kevin McCallister is a total fashionista even when home alone and having to teach himself how to wash clothes. I mean, who needs Paris Fashion Week when you have booby traps and aftershave? And come on, that smirk, get him on the runway.

ree
  1. Beetlejuice – Beetlejuice

I’m not going to lie, Beetlejuice is kinda scary, but with his striped suit, chaotic energy and the timeless monochrome look, I mean… name a more memorable black-and-white combo.

  1. Charlie Brown – Peanuts Holiday Specials

The Peanuts Holiday specials are always a favourite in my household, where for every holiday, including Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, we watch the associated movie, truly capturing the holiday spirit. Although Charlie Brown doesn’t always have the most festive outfits, and it's often only Halloween when you see him out of his usual yellow and black zig-zag top, he truly is a great character and staple piece for the holiday seasons.

  1. Ralphie – A Christmas Story

From pink bunny suits to cowboy getups, he’s the king of awkward holiday fashion moments, and we love that for him! I kinda feel bad that he had to wear.. THAT… but for family, anything is possible. Maybe he’ll fit into it in a few years, yet I doubt he’ll want to relive this traumatic stage in his life.

ree
  1. George Bailey – What a Wonderful Life

Classic 1940s charm, George pulls off crisp suits and the perfect overcoat, making him look like you can believe in miracles and good tailoring. And come on, that tie… jaw dropped.

ree
  1. Jack Skellington

Hourglass who??? With black pinstripes, a bat, bowtie and skeletal chic, he is Halloween and fashion’s king. I don’t really know what he is wearing, a suit, tuxedo, body suit, maybe a tailcoat, but even dead, his fashion sense is thriving, but not as well compared to others.

  1. Ghostface – Scream

ree

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Scream series, completely iconic to the tea, but Ghostface, I’m going to hold your hand when I say this…. You don’t have much taste. I mean, the same costume, every single movie, it’s been like 30 years! Change the colour, maybe the mask, you need to come out of that little psycho bubble you have and be your fashionable self!

ree

  1. Ebenezer Scrooge – A Christmas Carol

Grumpy chic with a side of nightgown couture, Ebenezer Scrooge sure knows how to bring down a mood. Even though he knows how to rock a top hat, he’s all misery with no fashion risks.

  1. Reggie and Leatherbeak – Free Birds

ree

Farmyard fabulous, but let’s be real, they are turkeys! They have no clothes – and turkey feathers only get you so far.
