If you haven’t been living under a rock the past couple of weeks, then you would have known that the royal wedding took place on the 19th of May 2018. In the lead up to the wedding everyone was trying to guess which design Meghan would choose for her dress. Whether she would go with simple, but elegant or a specially designed one. Most would have thought she would have gone with a dress that was specially designed for herself, that was different from any other dress made, just like Kate Middleton. However, that wasn’t the case and because of this there were many mixed reactions.
Some people said “Dress-bland and ill fitting” and “£300,000 for a dress that simple I was expecting bigger things”. A lot of people were disappointed, for example Katy Perry was heard saying “I would have done one more fitting” with the dress and when Emilia Wickstead said that Meghan’s wedding dress looked exactly the same as hers. Whereas others such as guest and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham said “I thought she looked absolutely beautiful. It really suited her. I thought it was perfect for her.” There were so many different reactions but in the end it is a dress that she chose to wear on her special day? What did you think?
